We manufacture mounting consoles, brackets and bent profiles used in flat roof PV ballast systems. Every component is produced to the customer's technical drawing - geometry, mounting holes and dimensions are determined by the documentation supplied by the customer.
Ballast system components - OEM manufacturer. CNC bending and die stamping to customer drawing.
Your drawing, our production
Ballast system components are specific to each system - console geometry, hole pattern and bending profile differ between manufacturers. We accept technical drawings in PDF or DXF format, provide a quote and start serial production. Documentation remains the property of the customer.
Magnelis, galvanised steel and aluminium - customer material or supplied by PROTEC
We produce from Magnelis-coated sheet, galvanised steel and aluminium - on customer-supplied material or sheet purchased by PROTEC. Magnelis is a zinc-magnesium-aluminium coating with 2-3 times higher corrosion resistance than standard galvanising - the industry standard for steel components in flat roof PV systems. Aluminium is used where minimising component weight is a priority alongside corrosion resistance. Both materials are processed at our plant in Chroscice, Poland.
OEM subcontractor for PV ballast system manufacturers
We manufacture components as an OEM subcontractor for companies designing and selling PV ballast systems for flat roofs. We produce series runs for systems already on the European market - a technical drawing is all we need. Certificates ISO 9001:2015 and EN 1090-2 (TUV Rheinland).
Have a technical drawing and need a manufacturer?
Send your documentation - we quote serial production of ballast system components from Magnelis, galvanised steel and aluminium.
Does PROTEC produce on customer-supplied material?
Yes. We accept orders on customer-supplied material as well as on sheet metal purchased by PROTEC. In both cases, production follows the supplied technical documentation.
What production technologies do you use for ballast components?
We manufacture ballast system components by CNC bending and die stamping - depending on the geometry and required series volume. Mounting holes are produced by die punching or laser cutting.
Does PROTEC also manufacture wind deflectors for ballast systems?
Yes. In addition to ballast system components, we produce PV wind deflectors - the side profile that protects PV modules against wind uplift from below. Production also to customer technical drawing. More information: wind deflector PV manufacturer.
What certificates cover the production of ballast components?
The entire production process is covered by certificates ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and EN 1090-2 (steel structures, TUV Rheinland).
Do you manufacture PV ballast systems and need a component supplier?
Send your technical drawing - we quote serial production of ballast system components and wind deflectors from Magnelis, galvanised steel and aluminium.
