PROTEC Sp. z o.o. is a Polish manufacturer of gutter components, solar mounting fixings, installation brackets, sheet metal flashings, roof vents and roof ornaments, made in its own plants in Chróścice near Opole since 1991. Serial and small orders for roofing contractors, wholesalers and OEM brands - in copper, titanium zinc, galvanised and stainless steel.
01 - Roof drainage
Gutter hooks (gutter hangers or gutter brackets) are the flat bar supports that carry the gutter along the eaves - PROTEC manufactures them from hot-dip galvanised steel flat bar 25×4, 30×4 and 30×5 mm and copper flat bar 25×4 and 30×4 mm, also powder coated in RAL colours.
02 - Roof drainage
Gutter accessories are the fittings that close, join, turn and drain a gutter run - PROTEC designs and manufactures them in-house, also to the customer's guidelines, from copper, titanium zinc and galvanised steel. PROTEC does not produce standard system gutter lengths or downpipes.
03 - Solar PV
Solar PV fixings are the metal parts that anchor photovoltaic mounting systems to the roof structure - PROTEC manufactures solar roof hooks from stainless steel 1.4301 and 1.4016, plus wind deflectors and ballast system components to the system maker's drawing.
04 - Building services
Installation brackets are steel supports that carry pipes and building services on walls and structures - PROTEC manufactures cantilever arms, pipe clamps, single and double mounting brackets and mounting kits to the customer's drawing, hot-dip or electro-galvanised, painted or raw. Measurement reports on request.
05 - Roofing
Sheet metal flashings are bent profiles that seal roof edges, chimneys and wall junctions - PROTEC bends them to dimension on CNC press brakes up to 3000 mm long from copper, titanium zinc, galvanised and coated steel.
06 - Roofing
Roof vents are sheet metal outlets that ventilate the roof space or terminate vent pipes above the roof covering - PROTEC manufactures roof vents for pitched roofs, ventilation chimneys and vent pipe cowls from copper, titanium zinc and galvanised steel.
07 - Heritage and decoration
Roof ornaments are decorative sheet metal elements crowning ridges, towers and turrets - PROTEC makes finials, spires, weathervanes, roosters and crosses to order from titanium zinc and copper, and reproduces historic ornaments for churches and chapels from a sample, photo or sketch.

Beyond the catalogue
Custom metal parts are PROTEC's core business - stamping on presses up to 450 t with dies from its own tool shop, laser cutting, CNC bending, machining and robotic MIG/MAG welding, from PROTEC's own or customer-supplied material.
Material choice sets the service life of roofing and drainage products - PROTEC works in copper, titanium zinc, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with RAL powder coating available as a service.

No - PROTEC is a B2B manufacturer supplying roofing contractors, wholesalers, distributors and OEM brands. Enquiries from private individuals are forwarded to the sales department.
PROTEC is a manufacturer of gutter and downpipe accessories - hooks, end caps, outlets, corners, joints, hoppers and clips - but does not produce standard system gutter lengths or downpipes. The exception is short gutter sections for curved balconies, bent to the balcony radius and supplied with hooks, accessories and balcony flashing with a drip edge as one service.
Yes - PROTEC produces from customer-supplied material as contract manufacturing, as well as from its own material.
Yes - PROTEC takes both serial and small orders and does not set a fixed minimum quantity. Send the quantity, material and specification through the contact form and the sales team prepares an offer.
Yes - gutter accessories, PV fixings and brackets are produced under the customer's brand, either from PROTEC's own designs or to the customer's drawings.
The hook must match the gutter metal to prevent galvanic corrosion: copper gutter - copper flat bar hook; natural titanium zinc gutter - hot-dip galvanised steel hook; patinated titanium zinc (Zinc Slate, Zinc Quartz, Zinc Graphite, Anthra Zinc) - RAL powder coated or stainless steel hook; galvanised gutter - hot-dip galvanised steel hook. Mixing metals can shorten the service life of the system from decades to a few years.
No - PROTEC is a manufacturer and supplies the products; installation is carried out by the roofer or sheet metal contractor. An optional mounting pin can be added to roof ornaments to make fixing easier.
PROTEC holds TÜV Rheinland certificates to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, EN 1090-2 EXC2 for steel structures, EN ISO 3834-2 for welding quality and VDA 6.3 for automotive process quality.
